If you choose to offer shipping, you can arrange for the shipping and handling of the item with the buyer directly. eBay Classifieds does not have a built-in shipping or delivery service, so it is up to the seller and buyer to coordinate the logistics of getting the item to its destination. **

eBay Classifieds became only classifieds because eBay decided to focus on its core marketplace business and streamline its operations. By separating the classifieds business, eBay could better position it for growth and allow it to operate independently. This decision also allowed eBay to allocate resources more efficiently and concentrate on enhancing the user experience within its main marketplace platform. Ultimately, the move to solely focus on classifieds was a strategic decision to optimize eBay's overall business strategy. **
